This position is a sales / service dual role where the person will be working from their home, traveling to customers and prospects each day.  One part of the role will be to engage with customers at their facility through technical service visits that drive process control, new sales, customer interest and many other activities.  The second part will be to prospect, sell value, and to create new Americo customers. 
<h4>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h4>
On a given day an Account Representative will be spending time:

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Provide engineering and technical recommendations</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Perform chemical titrations and readings</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Drive engineering projects to bring customer value</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Write technical service reports</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Host meetings at customers to deliver value</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Cold call and set up in-person sales calls to engage potential customers</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Write proposals for potential customers</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">These activities require a fair amount of driving to customers and prospects</li>

Account Representative

Oversee and develop customer specific chemical solutions.  As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will recommend and develop innovative chemical solutions that tie directly into a customer’s process.  These solutions will utilize existing products as well as require new product development.  These solutions will need to be tested and proven in a laboratory environment prior to being presented to a customer. 
<h4>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</h4>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Develop and implement testing procedures: Design and develop accurate and reliable testing methodologies for chemical analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Oversee chemical testing: Conduct complex chemical analyses of raw materials, finished products, and environmental samples, using various analytical techniques and instruments. This includes directing the lab on product modifications and new formulations using testing methods this role establishes</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Data analysis and reporting: Analyze test results, interpret data, and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations for further action.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Research and development: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in chemical analysis techniques and technologies and develop innovative approaches to improve laboratory operations and efficiency.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Team leadership and management: develop a team of chemists in the lab, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to foster a high-performing and collaborative work environment.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Collaboration with other departments: Work closely with other departments to provide technical expertise, support product development, and ensure product quality and safety.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Ensure compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to chemical testing and safety, and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Budget management: Monitor and control laboratory expenses, develop and manage budgets, and make recommendations for the procurement of laboratory equipment and supplies.</li>
